Exploring Team Building with SEL and our own Strengths in partnership with The Sarafian Foundation

The Sarafian Foundation/Ayo!Connect and L.A.F. are teaming up to work with the kids of Village Stage Productions and their Board. Focused on building a strong and collaborative team after two years of zoom meetings, VSP kids and board members are utilizing their strengths and SEL to come together before they take their lessons on the road to other students! This is a fabulous training for sports teams, clubs, and organization wanting to draw upon each others strengths and work solidly together. Part 1 of 5. Can be done in 3-5 sessions depending on group.

SEL for Families

Research shows since Covid, approximately 67% of adults report feeling anxious most of the time. Moreover, 90% of adults are sitting in unpleasant emotions most of their day.

Knowing this, how are you showing up for your family? For your community? For yourself? In this 1 hour workshop, we will take a granular look at our emotions, beyond, “I am happy” and “I am sad”. We will look at how the core competencies of social emotional learning are put into play during our day and our families/friends/coworkers’ days and how we are interacting. Are we showing up the way we want to show up? The way we need to show up?

NOW is the time to kickstart 2021, get re-energized, and refocused! You will take a look at your individual characteristics and strengths. You must understand yourself and how you can relate to the goal you set for yourself. From there, you will look at a balance wheel to see what’s out of whack in your lifestyle, attitude, nutrition, attitude, career, environment, and other components. There are many components to health - it is not all fruits and veggies. You can eat all the greens you want but if you’re trying to get by on 5 hours of sleep a night and cradling a screen as you do fall asleep, there is a deeper conversation to have. You will set Brief Action Plans and a Vision Statement setting yourself up for a successful year, quarter, six months. You choose the time frame. EMAIL me to register.
